The First 100 Days....Day 2.

Today President Obama made an executive order to close the prison camp at Guantanamo Bay. I think this was a good thing to do because it shows that he is keeping his campaign promises. I do worry about where the prisoners will go once the camp is closed, but I'm sure the administration has a plan in order to maintain justice. Also, today, White House Press Secretary Robert Gibbs had is "inaugural" daily press briefing, which at first looked like a trial by storm, but in the end, I think he did a good job of handling the questions of the White House Press Corps. Chuck Todd of MSNBC seemed to be a little hard on him at first, but I think he did a good job. I think Gibbs will learn in time to handle these tough questions without making the administration look bad. I was actually a big fan of Ari Fleischer, Bush's first press secretary,  in the way that he answered questions but didn't give away pertinent information. I honestly think Gibbs could learn from some old videos of his moves. Did I really just say that I was a fan of someone from the Bush administration. I must be sick from the cold of Inauguration Day.
